Crossing the (First) Chasm

Chasm

Something shifted in December

Up until then, it had pretty much all been internal. Experiments. Ideas. Demos. Edits.

We were proud, sure – but no one really knew what we were doing.

Then Fahad made a video.

A ripple that became a wave. 125,00 views. 400 new users in a week. And that was just the beginning.

We weren’t shouting into the void anymore. People were responding. Signing up. Sharing. Asking questions.

By February, we had 1,000+ intern applications, an additional 1,000+ sign-ups, and a small but mighty team of interns across QA, development, and platform experience research – all students in Pakistan.

All of them are curious, engaged, and generous with their feedback. It was the moment we realised: this wasn’t just our product anymore.

It was becoming theirs, too.

A new phase. A bigger team. A deeper mission

Suddenly, we weren’t a tiny team pushing code in silence

We had:

  • Platform experience researchers, giving us honest, thoughtful feedback
  • A junior dev team, building new features and implementing feedback in real time
  • QA analysts, stress-testing every assumption, delivering a quality user experience

The signal we’d been waiting for had arrived

Real users. Real data. Real insights. And real momentum

So, what now?!

Now we listen hard. Build smarter. And keep the door open to the community that helped us cross the first chasm.

We’re still early.

But we’re moving with more clarity, more conviction, and more people than ever before.

We’re not drowning anymore. We’re waving

What Are We Actually Solving?

November 2024

What is the actual problem? Not the feature list. Not the pitch. Not the buzzwords. But the real thing that’s broken in how we think, work, and connect in digital spaces.
